BUILDING A PROFILE

My Great Grandfather James David CROWLEY emigrates to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in January 1868.
In 1873 he marries Catherine CAMERON, daughter of Duncan and Flora Buchanan CAMERON.
The have children:
David
James Duncan
Flora
Catherine
Dennis  is Killed in First World War
Cornelius
Johanna

In 1888 or 1898 James David CROWLEY disappears.

For 20 years family history researchers have tried to find him.
Finally he is found buried in an unmarked grave in Corowa NSW, with no family, religion or minister, buried by Undertaker Charles Clayton and witnesses James Riley and John Jas Squires.
Still stating that his parents were David Crowley (Farmer) and Catherine Mehegan.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

So many David CROWLEY's from Cork, Ireland, it is impossible to decide which one he is, as there is still no mention of Catherine Mehegan.

How are these 4 People Related:  David and Honnoria Deasy Crowley from Bandon, Cork, Ireland AND David and Catherine Mehegan Crowley from Kilbrittain, Cork, Ireland.

FAMILY MEMBERS SAY YES they are related.

MY THEORY SO FAR IS THIS:

James David CROWLEY was either running from something or someone?????????
Is his name really James David Crowley?
Is he really a family member of David and Honnoria Deasy Crowley?
What is clear is that no-one can for sure say who James David CROWLEY was?????
We know his wife Catherine CAMERON filed for divorce???  was it ever granted??
The court case was in 14 February 1900, James was dead on 23 February 1900.
